E-Mail Phishing Scam in Colombia Using World Financial Group Name
[Sept. 30, 2010] - World Financial Group recently learned of an email scam circulating in Colombia falsely stating that World Financial Group is hiring citizens from Colombia to work in Canada and will assist them in securing visas through the Canadian Embassy once personal documentation is produced and mailed.
Please be aware that this email is fraudulent and is a phishing attempt by scammers to procure personal information by illegally using World Financial Group name and the names of our executives.
World Financial Group is neither hiring in Colombia nor expanding to that country at this time, nor does it have a program in any country to help citizens secure U.S. or Canadian work visas.
